Brooke Lisa Burke is a well known American model, actress and TV personality. She was born on September 8th 1971 and is probably best known for hosting the popular travel show ‘Wild On!’ from 1999-2002.
Brooke was born in Hartford, Connecticut and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She is of Jewish faith and has Irish, French and Portuguese ancestry. She attended UCLA where she studied broadcast journalism and was eventually signed to top modelling agencies such as Ford Models agency and went on to appear in several commercials including one for coca cola.
In 1999 Brooke became the host of the hit travel show ‘Wild On!’ which aired on the E! Entertainment television channel. This allowed her to travel the world whilst having a successful TV career. She still managed to keep up with her modelling work though, and in May 2001 and November 2004 she appeared in the notoriously famous ‘Playboy’ magazine. She is also popular with various other men’s magazines such as Maxim and FHM.
Early in her career Brooke has breast implants to enhance her look whilst modelling, but later had them reduced from a C to a D cup.
Brooke’s vocal talents have featured in several video games such as ‘Need for speed: Underground 2’ and she was also the voice of the ‘People and Places’ questions in trivial pursuit unhinged.
Since 2005 Burke has hosted ‘Rockstar’ the summer reality show in which members of the public compete to become the star of a rock band. However, the show gradually began to receive lower ratings and it was announced in May 2007 that CBS would not be making a new series.
Brooke has an active and happy social life, she divorced her husband Dr Garth Fisher in July 2005. The couple had two children together, Neriah (Named after her best friend and former playmate Neriah Davis) and Sierra Sky. She later got engaged to actor David Charvet and the couple had their first child together on January 8th 2007 whom they named Heaven Rain Charvet.
